Ah, but you may have had the ripple flange replaced, which accounts for the extra 3p.
The sump plug washer is normally itemised at a few pence.

This garage?

Or this one?
Haha!
The irony here being that the guy in the pic above will probably do a better job. His garage is unspectacular because he's not rushing cars through and using the punters' money to pay for big windows, leather chairs and coffee machines.

£35.71 plus VAT
Damn it...I was ripped off. £35.74 plus VAT. Bloody rogue dealers.

I ticked the no cost "ripple flange delete " box when I ordered mine.

Saved me 9p so far.....jester

The cost of the oil and filter kit from Opie Oils.com. I really have a hard time trusting ANY shop to change the oil. I can do it myself in half the time, put in higher quality oil and make sure everything is done properly, then recycle the oil at the local tip.

But only a cowboy garage would risk changing the ripple flange without replacing the thruxton flagellator at the same time!

My guess is about eleventy billion pounds for an oil change. smile

Or IMHO anything less than £50 is pretty good.
