Ok ok, I did cheat but I haven't had a chance to do real spotting in years boxedin Someone else did legitimately spot it, but they posted on Instagram.
That has to be up there with the rarest cars posted in this thread, can't be that many built, and especially in that colour.

Wikipedia seems to say 22 built, also says that the racing regs required 25.
Unless racing versions + the 22.

Some of the comments on this thread are actually embarrassing, you'd think some people here are middle class st don't stink toffs when the reality is they aren't, they are internet snobs. Commenting on peoples houses, numberplates, cars etc. It's actually pathetic, leave them to it and who cares? Let's all appreciate the cars and not act like gossiping women who speculate about people we don't know, have some respect.

Anyway, back on topic, last night i see this on Park Lane.

According to the most consistent information, it should be

2 993 versions
20 996 versions
1 1998 car

Race cars are not included in the above.

I don't know if all cars have been verified as they are so rarely seen and many are in collections with no number plates or identifying features.

This is the only one in blue after having been changed from a rather interesting yellow with green leather interior!

Here is my tasty Pork spot of the day! Should be a 930 3.3 Turbo with RUF CTR wheels.

Thanks for that info on GT1s.

Until Goodwood last weekend,I didn't know there was different versions of the first GT1.
I knew the 98 was completely different.

The roving Mike in the pits and grid bloke got a lift to the circuit in the road registered car on the left.

The one on the left is the car I saw in Reading last week.

I see a McLaren F1 in red on Saturday in Brentwood, reg was 7 GSM, sadly I wasn't quick enough with the phone/camera.

Someone on PH owns it I believe.

Yes he is. Had some great cars over the years and not afraid to use them. Saw the F1 on display at Goodwood one year.

Hi there,

Well this certainly brightened up the journey to work this morning.

I spotted it on the A537 heading towards Knutsford, sent the photo to my son who had seen the exact car the day before in Glossop.

If I had a dashcam, I could have done an updated version of the first photo in this volume of the thread, as I saw a transporter carrying seven new Bentleys today. Or at least I think they were Bentleys, they were all wrapped in white paper, but it's the only factory around here.
And another transporter-load yesterday.
