For those longtime members of PH who are still here, I'm sorry to have to inform you of McNab's passing.

The BRDC have published a fitting tribute to him.

He'll be terribly missed by his family and many friends.

I didn't know the man, but from that piece by the BRDC he lead some life! RIP.

Sad news. Not a prolific poster but he always left you with a real sense of connection to a phenomenal racing career. His past garage list was (is!) mind-blowing.

Sad news indeed.

I shared a few posts with him over the years recalling my late father in law and racing in the 50's.

He's now off to that great circuit in the sky having had a full life, collected a wealth of knowledge and displayed an immense talent that will be remembered. What more could a petrolhead want. RIP.
