of a well known money laundering setup?

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2017...

Furthermore wasn't that built down in London so how did it end up in Keighley?

Why wouldn't a car built in London,or Italy to be accurate end up in Yorkshire ?

Dealers buy stock from all over. B

I worked in a garage in Kingston,Surrey, the sales manager drove a TVR V8S to Harrogate to the then dealer who'd bought it.

What i find more surprising is that they seem to be retailing several exotics around the 200k mark under the same dealer name with a dubious reputation and a stock list that begins with a £489 Mondeo with a missing wheel trim - Perhaps goes to show that the lengths certain dealers make creating the right 'image' (like parking cars in a lake biggrin) might be a waste.

As to how the cars end up there - They'll almost all be out going rentals. Given an aventador rents for at least ~£1500 a day with a measly mileage allowance and exuberant additional costs, it doesnt take long for a rental to turn a profit until a few years and couple of thousands of miles.

At the end when they are too old or knackered to be desirable/on the edge of a depreciation cliff they're punted on by any means nessacey. Main dealers and specialists often won't touch them due to usage/mileage/condition/cut corners with mantaince, so they end up at places like the motorhub.

Last time I was up there I had a wander round the "car park", there is no disputing the selection of rare cars is incredible.
The sad part is, the majority of them were tatty at best as soon as you had a closer look.
I was there a good year ago at least, and they've still got some of the same cars for sale now

Said vehicle was apparently owned by the prince of some barbaric middle eastern sthole. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2349575/Tr...

So Motorhub seems like about the right place for it to end up.

It's not as if it's a tasteful E-Type or whatever, let's be honest it's basically something out of a Michael Bay movie.

How does some extra plastic and some stickers make that 5 year old car worth more than the list of a brand new Aventador S?

It was owned by a guy from Blackburn who sells toilet roll. The middle eastern car is what started this stupid Tron wrap, this is similar but different car.

Kieghley isn't far from Blackburn and perhaps they are the only people who would try to sell the piece of st.

I would love to know where they got the 900bhp figure from too.

i'll be honest, someone who writes their entire advert in capitals doesn't fill me with confidence that they are the sort of outfit I want to buy a 300k exotic from.

Spot on, the car was a regular site around Manchester and was indeed owned by an Asian toilet roll magnate from Blackburn, quite apt really!

That guy briefly owns a lot of cars, some that never get driven, that then get sold on. Odd.
