Here's the thing, no it's not very sensible to drift a car on the public road, but your assessment of "out of control" is not everyone's asesmennt"out of control". I bet, whilst that 'maniac' was drifting the supra around, there were probably 10 people on their phones in the local area, driving but not paying any attention, and actually presenting far more danger than the idiot in the supra.........

I posted on the forum thinking that someone might know this person and have a quite word in his ear about his driving standards on the public road . Yes most of us on the forum like to drive fast but there is a time and place whether that be on a quite road or a track but at 3.30 on a busy afternoon with lots of kids about isn't the time or place .

But in or near Hartlepool? With white alloys?

I also can't remember the last time I saw a Supra, I'd say it's fairly distinctive.

I believe the correct response to this as follows:

How far away is the school from your house?

I bet you've got a CHILD ON BOARD or better still a MULIPLE CHILDREN ON BOARD sticker in the back window of your car & expect other drivers to be breathlessly respectful of your procreation skills by giving way at junctions & roundabouts & not driving too close or beeping their horns at you in case baby wakes up.

Now i don't usually have a rant but I have just seen the most shocking Driving on a public road . On my way back from the school run with my 4 kids in the car slowing down for the roundabout an idiot in his Black Supra come from the right drifted round the roundabout nearly lost it on exiting and continued to snake up the duel carriageway both himself and passenger laughing as the went . All i can say to Mr Black Supra with White Alloys you sir are a complete dangerous? tosser . By the way the the location was Hartlepool on the Owton Lodge roundabout on the A689.
So if you see this guy please give him an appropriate hand gesture ??

Rant over !
I know where, is it where the fencing place is?

Is it school hols already? If the op's post is accurate, then there's absolutely no excuse to drive like that in a public road. In fact unless it was a drift day, there's no excuse to drive like that on a circuit.

Can't understand why the op is getting slammed like this - I'm a bit more forgiving of bad driving if I'm on my own in the car, but if my daughter is in with me it just brings home the potential consequences a bit more. Having a brother in law who's a paramedic brings it home even more so.

It must be nearly School holiday time if people are asking "is it the school holidays already"

Is there any relavence to you having 4 children or the fact that they were in the car at the time. His driving like a tt has no bearing on the fact that you had your precious cargo with you.
The relivence is that it was a busy Friday afternoon with cars at all 4 junctions and the roundabout is in between several schools with children in cars and on pavements .
Still no relavence to the fact you have children in the car though. Would it have been ok if they weren't in the car.......... Answer is no. So the children comment is totally irrelevant to the thread.
If you think it's irrelevant ignore it, rather than going on about it.
