From a Facebook spotted post, looks like the kind of quality my dashcam produces

Today’s pavement parkers

Mini cab driver having a break.

90% on the pavement. 10% on the road. For no reason.

On the pavement and right by the junction.

Think I'd start walking a path through their front garden!

I do, I also make sure I have heavy footsteps and move my feet about to "maximise grip" when on their grass!

It's fine, there's a path on the other side.

I wonder if the pavement was narrower and the road wider, would they still do it?
Is it just habit now?

The new Quatari phrase book entries.

‘I’ll only be five minutes’
‘What are you, the police?’
‘You don’t own the car park’
‘Other people do it’

Seems to be, our road is very very quiet, guarantee any van or indeed most visitors pulls up over the kerb,

st for brains basically.

Local football training centre is on FB again. A selection of views from "they should all walk" to "they should close the road".

We lived on a newbuild and it wouldn't make a difference. There where wide sections of road, that had limited traffic and they still blocked have the pavement. Some deciding it was easier to do that and park right outside their door, rather then use their drive which was 20 steps away.

Definitely. I park outside the girlfriends terraced house in a Transit, don't need to park on the kerb, still plenty of room on the road for cars and even buses to pass. Yet her and all her neighbours insist on parking on at least half of the kerb. Only one car can still pass on the road whether you park on the kerb or not, so what's the point?

Sticks.

My neighbour was having driving lessons. When the instructor arrived he'd park partly on the pavement even though there was no need. The new normal.

The black Peugeot actually looks sensibly parked but he stopped next to the front campervan and let his passenger out who then proceeded to direct him backwards in the worlds longest parallel park (in terms of both distance and time taken). A good few minutes after arriving the parking was completed when driving in forwards would have been both far easier and quicker!

Shocking parking at school as per usual.
Squeezed my white Focus in between the Fiesta and Zafira as drivers sat in both. Then continued back, right into the space. There is a good metre and a half available behind the Zafira and loads of space to the left, using that space would’ve made my Hob so much easier but thankfully I am a reversing / parking god.

Portishead Lake Grounds? I had heard that the council had banned motorhomes from parking there..
