Noo!
Although I do like that. Have you changed the bike as well?!
I do have a new bike in build but won't match any of my cars.Although I do like that. Have you changed the bike as well?!
I removed the purple wrap as the RS4 is being sold. They're very rare cars here in the Philippines so seeing it drive around purple would be like a constant reminder of an ex gf

With almost every BMW having ///M badges on it these days, can I ask what it is is?
I'm going to guess a 540i? It’s a staggeringly good car. I went a little overboard with spec; laser headlights (awesome!), individual interior etc etc. From experience I went with 19” wheels as the 20’s usually fitted to these are somewhat crashy and too easily damaged. I have two sets, summer and winter.
I’ve had quite a few fast estates; a B10, RS4, RS6, 335d (v good car) etc. I like subtle nowadays, so always dull grey colours and the minimum of external tat… This one may be my favourite, I bought it in 2021 and it still makes me smile.

firstly, it’s refreshing to see an estate that genuinely qualifies as a fast estate on here and secondly, this is a straight six without sporting pretensions, so why are you so enamoured with it? I’m interested as I plan to purchase one in 2034 just before the ICE ban when the arse has dropped out of the market and no one remembers how to maintain them.
I don’t like vehicles that are confused as to their purpose. Estate cars are estate cars, good for transporting dogs, kids & their sports kit, continent crossing etc. The fast ones are the most flexible and therefore usable. But they are emphatically NOT sports cars, and it is pointless to pretend otherwise. Too compromised in terms of weight, body shape, size etc. There’s no functional benefit to 20” wheels, ride-quality compromising suspension, wings/spoilers/splitters etc. Don’t get me started on “carbon fibre” accoutrements… So no M5 Touring or Mercedes DTM-stylee tarts handbags for me.
Rather the iron fist in the velvet glove that eats miles and tasks without drawing attention to itself.
I recognise this might be a minority viewpoint in this thread!

Yep I'm the opposite. My Forester STi was comfortable, fast, handled well and had excellent dog carrying and ground clearance positives. Doing a tip run with a spirited return trip was a joy. No it's not a sports car but on a wet road it would leave most sports cars trailing. Horses for courses. Amen! Couldn’t agree more. Was reading the article about the recent special edition RS6 and trying to hold back the vommit. All splitters, diffusers, vents and decals. And it looks like it would be challenged by a dropped kerb let alone a speed bump. I have an older f11 535i in SE spec. 18” wheels with a bit of side wall. It’s the less ‘sporty’ looking than most 520d’s. Comfort seats, pano roof, 300 effortless bhp’s. I bloody love it. How’s the straight six? Do you miss a V8?
