Just picked up my wife from some martial arts thing for mature ladies.
She was chatting to a lady about 65, who promptly got into a car with the Plate CAR 1E
A W12 Bentley.
I thought the spacing maybe just slightly illegal. But I bet its previously been spaced CAR1E and the police have had words.
Wife says she's lovely. Quite scouse.
That figures says I.
If she had a home counties accent she'd be driving a Honda Jazz
£14500 plus the bits in 1991She was chatting to a lady about 65, who promptly got into a car with the Plate CAR 1E

I'm guessing over £50k in today's market.

Given the money being asked for DAV 1 D and alleged to be on offer for LEW 1 S I'd be confident that CAR 1 E would be big money.
As an example I've been offered a plate recently that is being offered for 13 times what was paid for it in 1998.
It hasn't sold but the price is " not open to negotiation ".

I had to spend a few weeks doing a course in central Manchester (round the back of there if it’s where I think it is). At lunchtime we would all go to the pub and Deansgate was just this endless stream of footballers crawling up and down in horrendous, vulgar, gold wrapped “supercars”. That, or they’d be parked on double yellows outside Kendals. It was absolutely tragic: just imagine being a multi millionaire many times over, and the best thing you can think of doing with your time is driving up and down one of the most congested shopping streets in the UK at 2mph. Grim.
