Wow, the front of that bus was a lot more flimsy than the one I was on. That amount of damage might explain the near loss of control.

Didn't the bus push the BMW into a car queuing on the left so the front of the bus was pushing the BMW at angle into a stationary car? It was pushing two cars?

Yes, but people do stupid things and the bus driver made no allowance for that.

So where does one draw the line...how much allowance does one give to other drivers who may potentially do something stupid?
I am not trying to be funny but it could get to the stage where you might as well not drive on the roads anymore because you will be too preoccupied and hesitant for fear of what other drivers might do.
The way I see it is all you can do is stay within the law, take reasonable precautions and react to situations when they happen.

Easy to say that in a second or two of a video, even at 5 mph the car would have caused some damage. When you drive down the road, do you go slow just in case some egit comes out of a side road, or crosses the road and is on a collision course with you?

Would a bus driver pass parked cars on the NS at that speed with that amount of distance to cars on the NS?

Difficlt to answer as I may be wrong, but NS bus lanes are usually in town, this looks on a road with an excess of 30, either way we have no idea how fast he was going, bottom line its a bus lane.

If your on the motorway L1 and 2 is say doing 50, and L3 is clear, would you pass them at 70?, or 50?, just in case some plonker changes lanes.

Arrogant tt at 4:50 keep beeping the P plate car, drive over a mini roundabout, did a U turn, always give a P plate a bit of room, we ae not all Fanzio's although some think they are.

P plater all over the road. Surely if that's how they take roundabouts they should never have passed ?

Yes tend to agree, but even some seasond drivers seem to wander a lot on roundabouts, but thats why I always give a P plate driver al lot of room, passing the test, which may have may been last week, passing your test does not make you a good driver, it puts on the first rung of the ladder.
