Imagine : you've just passed your test, you've made an effort to inform other drivers by affixing a "P" plate to your car, it's dark, you make a lane error, then you get some chasing you and flashing the high beams. That'll do wonders for the confidence.

With a 20mph difference, I just keep a close eye on whether they are about to realise I am there and that they are going too slowly in the wrong lane and try to make a quick lane correction. Worst case you have a bit of room on the hard shoulder if needed. However,99% of the time they are completely oblivious and don't drop down a lane even when I pass them.

2m18s - does that look deliberate? Maybe some argy bargy between the van and the lorry beforehand but poor sod getting caught up on the barriers.

No, just looks like piss poor driving. The minibus seems to be indicating.

Nice that the other car stopped but you do have to be really careful in doing so as cars behind are doing 70mph and are not expecting to stop. A guy I heard about did this on the M1 and was killed in exactly this way.
