You can really get these to be very expensive
A CLE 450 cab with Premium Plus pack, adaptive dampers and Nappa is over 100,000 euro
Mercs new car pricing does seem to have gone a bit mental recently I agree(although I guess that it is just the sign of the times though). A CLE 450 cab with Premium Plus pack, adaptive dampers and Nappa is over 100,000 euro
The new car price of a lot of EVs blows my mind currently as well.

Looks fine, but I prefer the outgoing E-class version.
Colourway is elegant but UK importer won’t bring any in that look like this, they will all be white, silver or black with black interior.
Pretty sure if you go into the dealer they can order you whatever you want from the configurator. You'll just have to wait for it to be built.Colourway is elegant but UK importer won’t bring any in that look like this, they will all be white, silver or black with black interior.

No my mistake, B pillars visible. Doesn't matter, looks like the rear windows don't drop anyway.

Slighty OT, but that's a shame, Merc pillarless coupe's are the epitome of cool. I loved my CLK (only just left the fold) and my 124 before that.https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo...
Next stop is hopefully a 500/560SEC for the same reason.
Looks lovely, having had a e class can for a little while I can confirm that are lovely things. Not very exciting to drive but great for wafting around in.
To pick up on a few others points.
The front seats are supremely well insulated from buffeting. You really can drive it all year round with the top down.
The rear seats are really not well protected from buffeting! If you put the front and rear deflectors up it helps but you wouldn't want to sit back there at motorway speeds for very long (and it looks awful!)
It's a genuine 4 seater loads of room in the cabin
It's surprisingly practical with the roof up. The boot is pretty huge for what the car is. Roof down there is a lot of room but the opening is then tiny so it's hard to put much in...
I keep thinking of getting another but I sold it for 2 reasons, 1. I made a healthy profit. 2. Apart from having the top down it's just not that interesting to drive

According to their newish nomenclature this should be an E-class based coupe/convertible, with pricing to follow, but it's clearly based on a C-class!A CLE 450 cab with Premium Plus pack, adaptive dampers and Nappa is over 100,000 euro
A BMW 440 is about £75 specced.
Rip off
Also where's the A5 convertible gone. In fact, any Audi convertible???

The fact Audi UK have decided not to sell the A5 cabrio here anymore is daft. They still build them in RHD, you can get them in tiny markets like HK and Singapore. Why not let us order one? I ordered an A5 coupe back in November, but would have preferred the cabrio.
Be interesting to see soft-top sales figures for the UK, I see a marked reduction of convertibles on the road in the past few years and struggle to think of any friends with a soft-top now.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
