Love it, now get that supercharger fitted
I believe the BBR supercharger upgrade removes the exhaust header CAT which means the car is no longer road legal. The Super180/185/200 kits have the option of a sports CAT in the header and it makes virtually no difference to the power output, BBR has dyno runs on it's website confirming this. Here’s my NC and I took this picture on one of the best stretches of road in North Yorkshire, at more or less anytime of the day or year you can have it to yourself. It’s a 2010 Sport Tech that’s had the BBR 200 upgrade, full GT exhaust and lowered at Roddisons with Meister CRD and full geo set up.
It’s a fab little car and while I guess I can’t really afford to run a Cayman or a Boxster, then it must be the next best thing. Had the car for 3 years and it’s never let me down. Just keep the rust at bay and you’ll be ok.

The NC has two cats, you can remove the manifold one ( a pre cat to enable it to pass emmisions testing from a cold start) and still be MOT compliant. You just need to get the car hot prior to testing. I have a BBR 225 (non-catted manifold). Thanks for all the compliments on the car, very much appreciated!

Pretty much exactly what I'm aiming for there, looks great. Dare I say, probably more entertaining more of the time than a Cayman/Boxster in that spec too...

At the risk of sounding like a nerd I can confirm your 25AE came with yellow Bilstein dampers from the factory (these were valved differently to the ones that came on the earlier MK3/NC1 which were too soft)...
Fantastic information there, thank you very much for sharing. Not a Diesel said:
Another tip regarding the light interior.
1. Saw quite a few lowish miles cars with bolster wear. (if you keep car in garage you tend to get in & out more)
2. Have seen the base of the seat pick up discolouring from wife's dark jeans.
G Techniq tri-clean removed the staining.
G Techniq Leather guard puts a coating that prevents wear.
Have used both a couple of times keeping seats like new.
I'll definitely give that a go too as there is some light staining on the driver bolster, thanks 1. Saw quite a few lowish miles cars with bolster wear. (if you keep car in garage you tend to get in & out more)

This isn't correct. You might get a NC through a MOT minus 1 CAT because the inspector doesn't do their job properly but it's been illegal to remove a CAT from a road going car for years. Even BBR clearly state on their website the header without a CAT isn't MOT compliant. If you are involved in a crash and your car gets inspected your insurance company might refuse to pay the claim since your car isn't road legal. If you don't believe me go and look at the BBR website.[url]

Great looking car Ben.
Some pics of my 2011 NC2 Velocity Red BBR Super200 plus BBR exhaust & suspension and some interior enhancements. Had this car 9 years now and still think its the perfect sports car with BBR tweaks... roadster adds to the experience as I never drive with the roof up!
Hope you REALLY enjoy your MX5 Ben

Thanks... with the BBR tweaks I absolutely love driving it... never kept a car so long in 30-years! I purchased the dials from a guy in the US... heres a link... they are great quality and pretty easy to fit if you follow his instructions and some YouTube clips:
