I had that magazine! That was my favourite car as a kid. They included a postcard of it in a later issue IIRC.
Yes indeed, I had the same one on my bedroom wall. One of four supercar prints they did, but I can’t for the life of me remember what the other three were. Maybe a 288 GTO?

My memory is telling me the postcard/print was next to a barn and a circular hay bale...

I can't remember the other cars either. getmecoat

Good memory.

Found it in PC Mag April 1988

Well done!! Brings back some memories. And you were right, a 288 GTO was one of them.

I quite like this Strosek. Something different...

https://www.secret-classics.com/en/strosek-911-meg...
there is a 3.2 Strosek for sale for not that much, looks pretty cool, ok not superfast, its more like WTL carrera 3.2 but rare.
Mr Strosek himself with the Speedster version. Looks fantastic.

That's awesome, and way ahead of it's time, imo.

If it was mine, I think I'd want different wheels - those don't do much for me.

As for the Tuthill 993 - OhGodYes yes

(although I'd have mine in speed yellow or the mint green colour posted above)

There was a red Strosek that was for sale on this very platform for years back in the mid to late 00s to 10s.

It wasn’t too bad looking, somewhere between a Ruf and an RS in the looks but with more sensibly sized teledials (which presumably were their look).

I’m not sure anyone ever bought it or what happened to it.

I see Chris Harris has done a good test.

One of these, or my own take on it has elbowed its way to near top of lottery win list! Sounds even better than I’d imagined.

He says though it’s based on an RS, which would be surprising and unnecessary given the scope of the build.
