RE: Analogue Automotive Supersport | PH Review
Discussion
Goodness me £100K is bonkers.
My 111S with a very similar spec to this has cost less than £25K in total and that includes buying it for £12.5K in 2013, from Analogue Automotive funnily enough.
Yes OK it’s a lovely car but not sure I could justify the £75K delta.
Everything else is spot on the money, the driving experience is sublime, it still gets loads of positive attention, and they look great in black.
Oh and it’s the only car I have that can do donuts in the garage

sure it's pricey, but compared to other restomods it's a bargain. and a drive you can't get anymore.
others saying they've done similar, I'm sure you're happy with your cars, but these are clean, ground up rebuilds that will (probably) look quite different in the flesh to yours? These are not alcoholics prices. (that was autocorrect!!)

Big empty garage. You need more cars. Cost of this restomod upgrade is 4 times what I paid for my S1 brand new in 1999. My car has upgraded VVC engine, suspension and brake mods all installed for a fraction of this cost.
errrrr how exactly are they repairing a banded aluminium chassis, something lotus has always claimed was not possible and has always resulted in an insurance right off?
I could get it if they were getting a new chassis made
the s1 was an amazing car of the time, was my first care, but so many better options for the money, give me an atom anyway

Maybe it was simply not economical to repair a chassis of a £20k car. The economics change somewhat in a £100k build. I could get it if they were getting a new chassis made
