This is a PR disaster for Alfa.
Nonsense looking Alfa that dilutes the heritage of this brand and now they have to change the name.

However - not since the rush of blood to the head that bought us the 156 have they really got a launch right. The issue is that somewhere is a brand book that says Alfa must charge premium pricing, that they are a BMW competitor, so in my experience they launch high, model sells poorly then they try and back fill but it's too late. A problem Jaguar have also seemingly never woken up to.

Finally, someone on Pistonheads makes an interesting point. Keep it up, bro.

Maybe, but the Giulia and Stelvio challenge that thought process.

Yeah, I agree the Giulia and the Stelvio are both well worth considering as a premium car. I accept that on the face of it some of the plastics and the tech are not up to the standard of some of the Germans, but the money was spent where it matters. How many BMW's or Mercs use Carbon Fibre Propshafts for instance?
Whether the Junior is or not I will reserve judgement until I've seen one. (Tonale isn't too bad in that respect to be fair)

I'm still not convinced I would want the Car to be called Junior, I know its been used a number of times since as a trim level, but a (GT) Junior is a 105 Coupe to me and always will be.
Like this for instance!!
