That is the epitome of a pointless concept. Only fit for major urban conglomerates, which require neither high speed, nor offroad-ish capabilities. Try driving from somewhere in Western Europe down to the Balkans! LOL. For those old enough, think back on the first year of catalytic converters requiring unleaded fuel - huge parts of Europe were just off limits. Same now with charging infrastructure. There are still areas in Greater Europe where even today the rarety of gas stations require some fuel monitoring. And then the high-speed part. Even not talking about legal speed limits, an Autobahn high speed run with a BEV drains the battery inside 30 minutes. Just not do-able. I like the interior, and the rear. The front is very forced and unharmonic. In any case, it would be more honest to just offer it with front wheel drive.
Sounds like a 99.999th percentile use case that Porsche probably excluded from their customer profile for this car.For future reference, would this journey be with or without a caravan?

Take the badges off and it looks like a Chinese EV start up.
To you maybe but IMV it retains enough styles cues for me to recognise it as a Porsche.Mrs Highway has a hair salon, one of her girls passed her test and got herself a car… she has no idea what the car was but it’s white!
McLarens are often mistaken for Ferraris.
Years ago a neighbour of mine thought the 981 CS I had was a 911 because… he thought Porsche only made the 911. So yes, car bores know. Guess work to many others.

I do wish more manufacturers would offer a decent coil/shock suspension option rather than going down the air-suspension route. I know it seems fancy to raise and lower but it's just one more thing to break and usually costs more.
They still offer normal springs with PASM which I’d imagine will still ride well. Silvanus said:

They all look crap? Don't know about that - Audi's RS e-tron GT is a good looking car, as is the Maserati Gran Turismo and MC20 Folgore models.I also think the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (which will admittedly only have a few electric versions built) is pretty good looking too.

Oh Lee, just as you were doing well and almost warming to the idea.I can’t work out whether you actually believe what you’re typing or you say it to sound cool in front of the bigger ICE boys and not lose face.
It reminds me of a 13-year old boy saying ‘urgh girls smell and they don’t like football’ when deep down you did really like them, especially that girl from the year above that you got the bus with.

As our family runabout it’s certainly up my street.
Will likely replace our BMW 330e when the time comes.
A nice lease to reduce my tax contribution and we just get a nice car with no worries.
I’ve no doubt the Chinese or Japanese rivals will be better and cheaper but my inner snob is coming out and I’d like a Porsche badge as a fanboy

I do like the Audi RS e-tron to look at though, and I don't mind the Taycan either, plus I like the look of the 2 seater MG EV as well.
