Ok,

The best I can find is a Mazda B2500 turbo Diesel 4x4 Van, this must be it?

For the engine a 10w-30/10w-40 semi with regular changes.

For the gearbox it needs a 75w-90 GL5 spec oil.

For the front and rear diffs a GL5 90.

And a 75w-90 GL5 for the transferr box.

Cheers.

According to the database, this car requires 10w-40.

Semi synthetic would be the minimum quality I would recommend.

Simon

Hi,

For the engine, if the oil temps remain around or below 120deg then we suggest a 5w-40 full synthetic, ester/pao blends being the best. If the temps rise above this we would recomend a 10w-50.

For the gearbox and diffs, Silkolene Syn5 75w-90.

Cheers

Guy.

Make: BMW
Model: 535i
Year: 1997
Engine type: 3.5 V8
Modifications: None
Driving style: Sporting when possible, otherwise motorway trawl @ 70-90
Any other information that may be relevant: 20k miles a year and 90% of miles on motorways or fast A roads. Limited "spirited" driving. Additionally looking to have a chip-tune and general fettle to keep it with a full set of horses so likely to have some simple "modifications" - which is daft as its got 122k on the clock and all I want is to not loose BHP, not necessarily add any!!!! Still, thats how the insurance game works!

To help keep the performance up we would suggest a good quality BMW approved 5w-40 full synthetic for all year round use, changed every 10,000 miles or so.

Brand wise, have a look at the Silkolene and Motul from a performance perspective, or have a look at the Fuchs and Mobil.

Cheers

Guy.

We would suggest a 5w-40 full synthetic meeting or exceeding the VW502.00 spec.

Brand wise, as a good oil at a good prices, have a look at the Fuchs titan Supersyn SL 5w-40.

You can change the oil every 10,000 miles with this oil.

Cheers

Guy.

Ain't that suitable for turbo-charged engine? Used same oil for my previous Leon Cupra.

Hi,

For the Duratec your looking at a 5w-30 or a 5w-40.

Semi or full synthetic, but full synthetic is best.

Have a look at the Motul 8100 5w-30 as this is a good quality true synthetic.

Cheers

Guy.

If you want to do the best for it, you are looking at a 5w-40 full synthetic for all year round use, it will be fine on that mileage.

Brand wise, Fuchs, Silkolene and Motul are tops.

Cheers
