This is the first car I will order when I win the lottery I love it. I think it's gorgeous to look at too, I love the huge rear end and the twin headlights.

Someone posted a home video of it being demonstrated at the factory - the sound it makes is unbelieveable.

I'd have it in black with that same interior.

Anyone else noticed in these pictures that the the top part of the car looks a bit like a 911 from the back ?

Or is it just me

I think it's awesome!!!!

(but then again I love Buell motorcycles too and they're not everyone's cup of tea).

To be honest, it's not just about the way something looks. It's about the way you feel. I knew my Buell was never the best looking bike in the pack, but when you rode it and out-did a Gixer 750 on a corner with the engine thumping away and then ripping your arms off in a floury of power with the front wheel floating in the air....well....need I say more.

This car in the same. Just the feeling you get when driving it. Knowing you have the best and feeling it too

What is going on with those nasty red plastic mouldings around the lights?

Didn't have the balls to ask Horacio that question to be honest. Really, it's not that brash when you see it for real. There's quite a few nice details that you notice when seen up close.

Still all this pales in comparison to having GT3 RS emblazoned on the side of your car though. I mean blue wheels? How in-yer-face can you get?

How did you manage to go to the Pagani factory? Sounds like bloody good fun!

My car is by no means a shrinking violet, however the cabin is fairly sober, and one isn't in danger of being blinded by reflections on what must be the most vulgar automotive application of chrome ever imagined. The cabin on the previous model was the embodiment of restraint in comparison!

I'm surprised there aren't diamonds set all over that binacle... or are there?

OK, I concede, perhaps that particular car is a little too 'flamboyant' on the inside. But like I said, you don't have to have the interior look like a Gucci bag. It is pretty much a hand-built car so there is plenty of scope to have it as sombre as you would prefer.

Nothing to it. Just rocked up on the day, asked if I could have a look around, they obliged. Put into stark contrast the shear arrogance of Ferrari whom I visited on the same day.

I also visited the Pagani factory, although this was back in '04, so I didn't see that spectacular Zonda F. What I did see though was two 'regular' Zondas. I asked a man walking out of the factory if it was okay if I walked in and took a couple of photographs of the cars. To my surprise he said it was alright, and then he went home, so there I was standing beside two of appr. 25-30 Zondas in the world, and one of them was completely open, doors, hood, everything. Quite a sight and quite a trust he put in me walking around these two 300k pound cars all alone.

Unfortunately I only had a shitty old camera with me, so the pictures i took wasn't excactly world-class...

But anyway, everybody should take a trip to Modena and the surrounding paradise for car lovers. (They were even testing F1s at Fiorano, when I were in Maranello earlier that week...)

PS. How do you post pictures?

Looking forward to getting up close and personal with one on minihoon - someone is bringing a spyder

Personally I think it's great and seriously styish / stylised - but then I love HP's final iteration of the Countach which most think is ugly! (And I drive a morgan which everybody excepot me thinks is ugly so what do I know. )

I guess all I have in my defense is that my taste in ladies is far better

It's a supercar, by definition it is OTT. It's a statement of adventurous design and IMHO it would look extremely odd if it had a dull grey/ black plastic dash you see on most cars. Dull as well!

It's a wonderful car no doubt, but it is ridiculously expensive. No Wonder only 60 Zonda's have been delivered so far. I have never driven a Zonda, but I have driven a Carrera GT and SLR, and you can have either of those for those special moments, plus a Aston Martin DB9 for casual fun, and an Audi A6 4.2 for my daily run around all for the price of the Zonda F. But I guess, if you can afford it, why not.
I think Pagani needs to do a more affordable, smaller car. Creating an expensive, phenominal car is not as hard as some might think. Creating an affordable yet phenominal car is very hard to do, but it can be done, just look at the Lotus Elise.
Lets hope Pagani will be more than just a one car model company.

Would be nice to see a smaller, more affordable version with the new AMG V8

Sweet Mother. I remember it sounding good but hell, not as good as that.

First thing I'd do? Get a de-cat.

I detect sarcastic undertones there.

It was done with a crappy little Nikon compact. But hey, it lets me relive the memories.

jesus ... that is quite a sound. Imagine if he had lost the back into the half dozen other Zondas he was driving past parked up in front of the factory. Could have set a new world record for a car insurance claim.
