Oh dear, did I have a wonderfull day saturday. A good 100 mile trip through the best part of Holland, cam in my lap sitting next to the official, driving a raw red TR4 . . . A field of 150 yum Rari's, Jags, Massers, Bents, Porkers and one Lambo.

Brushing up the load right now. Part one: ten British entries. Enjoy!

XK150

Healey 6

TR6pi

Luvly Spitfire

Symphony in yellow: raw sounding 911 and TR6

Our TR4, I might just like this one over a TR6. The 6 is more modern . . .

I really fell in love with this blue Bent Vert. What is it BG?

Absolutely stunning.

Yup, a Brit entry.
C'mon guys, maybe a few more next year. This Rally is so well organised, by the local Rotary Club.

Quite a few Healeys, but they couldn't keep up with our 4 . . . and the amazement of the day: a beige Volvo to be posted later this eve.

Viva Italia!

Love this storming 3500GT

This one is at ease . . .

. . . time for a peek inside.

Wonderfull typography. This one was found on a Masser, a DB5 and the Lambo.

Easily the best sounding car of the day.

330 America and a 3500GT

The only Lambo, a beautifull and just restored 400GT . . .

. . . with only one flaw . . .

. . . the boot didn't open

Love this Alfa GT junior.

This 330 GT sounded the absolute nuts. A shame the driver didn't like drama . . . he did turn some heads just by strolling along.

. . . and the last bit.

We drove with the top down all day. Grey skies frightend most verts though. It started to rain cats 'n dogs at the Finish at the Doorn Castle. Park, run to the tent and grab a rosé!

Of the pack of Porkers this was my fav in both sound and looks.

I'm not really a Vette guy . . .

. . . but this really floats my boat.

This might look like grandpa's ride but it was a fast devil!

Another Yank, a pity I didn't see her run: Stang GT350

A very blue Bugatti. The crew wore period dress with raincoats under!

Is this TA Vert a looker or what?

Damn fine day . . . next time I better brush up my cardreading!

The 'Jag and the Yellow TR6' . . . the orange-yellow thingy is a 911 Porker

Most cars were mint. I missed a few due to the flying around in the Officials' TR4: original Tona Spider , brilliant 40s Pontiac, brute 356 ragtop, gorgeous 30s Roller . . .

Next time I'll be there again for sure

I think that is a 4 1/4 litre Derby Bentley from after the Rolls-Royce takeover of Bentley Motors. It might have been a 3 1/2 litre, of course.

I might be completely wrong, of course.

Already read it Dink

and loved it....That Europa is lovely!

Don't have a Europa (unfortunatly) but do have a 7 S2 racer, 18 Formula Junior, Elan S4.

Uncle has an Elite, Elan +2 and Lotus 11 chassis 201 (has a very interesting history)

Grandpa also has a +2 Elan (also had a 7 S3, Esprit S1 and Turbo)

Yes off course Wim . . . you still have places left then?

I must say a convoy of 60s-70s Rari's is a delightfull sight! Would be great to have a few on your meadow right?

Not much... About 15 left. So they'd have to be quick...

Superb pics there Dinkel, anyone would think that you'd bought a new camera or somthing!

In no particular order of favourites -

Lamborghini 400 - for the stunning looks and the fact that it's not a Ferrari.

Ferrari 330 - for the noise and the fact that it is a Ferrari.

Bugatti - just because.

Fantastic pics, some very nice motors. My dad and i did a classic marathon to Prague a couple of years back. We were going to go in our Etype S2 2+2, but late timing chain problems put the car out. We went in my focus instead. It was a fantastic trip. We got ahead of the competing cars and took video and stills of them in action around the eiffel mountains.

Last year we aquired this beasty:

I love my new Olympus E300, it works great and better than the D70 from work . . . all IMO. Will look for a decent 1.4 standard lens though.

Luverly racy TR4 there

The Aurelia racer :megayum: I'm trying to get a seat in that one . . . and the Spider Tona (no rep gents), shame I didn't get a proper pic.
