Somethings wrong with the way this page is loading, it seems some people are getting pictures of an ugly car and the rest of us are getting pics of a piece of art.
wtf is wrong with you guys?
I'm with you m8 - they probably all drive exciting looking cars like 911'zzzzzzzz
Is it just me or is there really a wave of new, "supercars" emerging? The stats of these things might be impressive but I'd love to know how this Sirius actually performs on track (the Koenigsegg despite lots more power got beaten by the Carrera GT on the Ring). The design's a mixed bag of "funky" details which don't make sense when put together. Using spares of 80's cars and bolting them together creatively does NOT produce stunning design, Mr L. Have a look at the MC12 if you want to see what really works.

That is one nice car, and let's be honest, none of us would turn it down if offered one. For exclusivity alone i would have one over a Porker or Fezza any day of the week!
I have to agree with you on this it is a great looking car, more original looking than porsches these days and probably more reliable than a Ferrari, dont get me wrong, I still love porsches and ferrari's.

In fact if you were to put all three together, the styling of the two big name challengers would appear fussy and contrived next to the super smooth Sirius.
You're kidding right?
actually look at some pictures of the Enzo and the GT and compare them to the Sirius and you'll see this is an objective fact (particularly side views). It doesn't necessarily mean it is a better or worse looking car, but it is clearly a much smoother, cleaner profile.
It seems nowadays everyone wants to have a near 1000 hp car and there are quite a few offerings. In the States, you can factory order a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo with 1000 hp. Then there is that joke of a supercar emerging from Florida, the SSC which claims to have similar power. Just the other day I spoke to guy who is getting twin turbo's fitted to his Corvette Z06 which he claims will give it 1200 hp.
The only problem I see with all these power claims is, how reliable of a car are you left with?
Having read all the stories about the difficulties Bugatti had to make a 1001 hp car that doesn't overheat, doesn't eat its gearbox, and stays glued on the road even at 250 mph, surely cant be an easy task to accomplish. Most of these other cars are an accident waiting to happen.
I personally like this Lotec Sirius, although it does need a better name (just like someone else pointed it out on this forum, it sounds like Low Tech. Reverse the order of the name and it might mean Seriously Low Tech).
This January, another Lotec model, the very little known C1000, which was originally built for a customer in Dubai, was sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction for US$243,000. I am surprised the article had no mention of that car.
As another reader pointed out the price in this forum, I don't think I'd want to put my money on this. Call me boring for picking a more obvious choice, but I'd rather have the Porsche Carrera GT.
