Back view clearly shows the design dates from the eighties.
Still, it is great that someone pursues his dream.
And it's not ugly. There just are better looking supercars nowadays...

How come the majority of 'supercars' have badly designed interiors?

Because no-one cares about how comfortable you are, or wants to look at the trim, when you're going at 200mph+? I don't actually know, that is a guess.

Those headlights really do the car no favours at all

Those headlights seem to have been pinched from a Koenigsegg. It certainly looks futurestic - welcome to 1980!!

That is one STAGGERINGLY ugly car.

Just as ugly as a Lotus Elise, in fact.

It's all subjective though, is it not?

You say tom-mayto, I say tom-ato...hell, it's what makes the world an interesting place in which to live. What do you want, everything to look the same to one and all?

So apparently if it's not futuristic looking it can't be great looking according to the "experts" here?

I'd call it subtle as opposed to the oft overused Ferrari-esc round taillights every Chevy has these days.

A Lotus Exige also requires being a gymnist to enter, yet no one bitches about that.

You'd think this crowd was being paid to be a bunch of auto-critics.

AWESOME LOOKING CAR!

Hmmm, looks like something that belonged on EA's Need For Speed 2, next to the Italdesign Cala and Nazca C2, and the Isdera Commendatore. It's that era of supercar (mid-nineties) and would have been cool then, but I don't know about now. Me, I'd have the Koenigsegg that was on TopGear on monday - superb looking car.

Took my attention right away, 1992 was a long long time ago in automotive terms. I do remember the chap that designed the Citroen BX, came up with the triangular shaped roof too. (A little sharper though but it was 1988).

Inspired or insight from the Maclaren, maybe?

I prefer the Zonda.

A car needs to be outrageous and fast in order to sell for that kind of money.

In fact if you were to put all three together, the styling of the two big name challengers would appear fussy and contrived next to the super smooth Sirius.

Just like a Mark 1 (Jelly mould) Sierra then?

0-62mph in 3.8 sec (that's the same as a TVR Tuscan S or a Sagaris) but 0-124mph in 7.8 secs is pretty hot!!! I think it looks grrrrreat! So what's wrong with a bit of 80's bling anyway?

The MC12 is one stunning piece of a race car:

Found out that you can drive these non-homolagted machines in Switzerland rather easily. Just buy yourself a car dealership and drive your MC12 with temporary garage plates which is fully legal. Heard of a FXX customer who did this.
