Hi, I'm looking to trace my old Series 2 Escort RS Turbo, reg F589 TFP. Any danger anyone can help me track her down? I have looked on allot of sites, they tell me it became liable at the end of 2006 etc etc, but, that doesnt help me find who has it and the reg'ed keeper and offer them a few quid to get it back! Any help to get my childhood dream back would mean allot. Thanks and fingers crossed!
The DVLA records show that your old S2 RST was not taxed on the last renewal date (1st April 2006). The vehicle could have been scrapped, or is SORNED. The Motor Insurers Database corroborates this as it isn't currently insured.

I'm not really sure where you can go from here.
Guess someone has smashed it to bits or blown it to high heaven! So upsetting to think about... Loved that damn thing! Only sold because I advertised the number plate I had on it, guy came to see it and kept offering me more and more money for the car too.... Got to £9k and just couldnt keep saying no! Felt a bit bad as it blew itself to bits 10 minutes down the road after he left. Opp's. But, any other suggestions to get it back or track it down, let me know guys!!

Thanks for the info thus far mate :-)
This is my old car! I built it from an old ropey RST to the feature car it was in Fast Ford.....spent a small sheiks fortune on it and loved it!!!! Wish I could have it back too!!

Anyone know the whereabouts of RF51 VFW , grey 3 series, quite rare in that its a facelift from 2002 with the 1.9 engine.

Sold it to a TA guy from Partick in Glasgow back in 2007.

Not on the insurance database !

My old man had a couple of Rolls (an older and newer car at that time) and he then bought a Bentley.

One of them, but I can't remember which, was TLL5.

Would love to know what happened to it.

Strange. I had a Honda Accord company car from brand new (LG04XZL). AskMID now shows that plate on a Hyundai Accent. How odd.

When your vehicle doesn't appear on ASKMID or the DVLA Tax (Vehicle cannot be found..) does that mean it's probably written off ? RO04HXX

Well that was an eye opener, googled the number of my old VW camper and got a report about uterine prolapse in dromedary camels.

Thus unfortunately can confirm all camels are ugly... at BOTH ends!

A quick search of the DVLA database confirms that my late father's last car (a 1969 Triumph Vitesse) is still in ownership, question is 'where'?

He sold it in the early 90s to a student from Durham University, but that's all I know.

Sounds sad I know, but I'd quite like to see the old girl again. Father and I replaced the engine in 1979 and I'd like to see if our handiwork is still going.

Does anyone have any ideas how I could find out? Googling the reg does nothing, and I've posted on all the Triumph forums to no avail... frown
