Maybe somebody on here could help, looking for a morgan 4/4 that was belonging to my father in law (to be). He always talks about how he misses it some 33 years on. Be good to find it for him i know it cones up on the dvla tax status check as not having been taxed since 2012 but iv done a HPI on it and it says exported. Im hoping somebody on here might know of WAB359R? Like i said its an Ivory coloured Morgan 4/4. Any help appreciated.

It would be in your best interests to scour the Morgan forums... check the Morgan fan clubs for any of the major exporting destinations of Morgans (Japan, US). It may be living on somewhere, but sadly it could have been "exported" to the great race track in the sky.

Yeh iv signed up to 'Talk Morgan' forum but any sugfestions of more mainstream morgan forums? Id hope it lives on, the mot history looks pretty clean on it so stands a good chance of still going someplace.

Does anyone have any idea about the whereabouts of my father's 1990 land rover discovery? It had the private plate put on by us "C11 MMA". Would love to have it back as it holds so many happy memories. Thanks
Hi this veichle is currently SORN you can download and app and pay around 10 pound to check what has happend to it i.e. Scrapped and many many other things the app is called my car check hope this helps and if it does I'd love a reply
Hi, thanks for the reply about the car. I have tried all sorts of apps including the my car check apps and I know that the car has changed hands since 2007 and has been parked up since 2009-2010. Dvla weren't helpful as i filled out a form and paid a fiver as well but I did expect them to speak about the data protection act so it's not decent to blame them. I guess my chances of getting our number plate back are very slim.,

Trying to find what happened to my other Smart, bought after the red one earlier in the thread was written off (it passed its MOT again in November so its still on the road according to https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk ) . Anyway, its replacement was a silver ForTwo, KP08 UJU. It was part exed in 2015 when I got the Skoda Citigo I have now. I didn't think much of this at the time, but after I had the Skoda, I think it was last year, I had a HPI letter asking for the mileage of the Smart when I sold it, I filled in the letter as best I could and returned it, thinking it was somebody looking to buy it and going to HPI for a history check. The registration KP08 UJU now does not exist on the MOT site. Below is the photographic evidence of it, so what's happened since 2015?
Hello
That Smart was registered under X3 YUD for about a year, between May 16 and Apr 17, at which point it changed hands. It's still going strong. smile
Just seen this. Yeah, checked it again on the dvla site and it's there again as KP08 UJU. I did think it had been killed to death after the HPI letter and not showing up anywhere.

How did you find out that the reg plate had changed?

It isn't on the road!

It was last taxed 1988. Doesn't that give you a clue?!

Really regretted selling my old 106 Rallye, would love to find out what happened to R40LYE, it had a couple of mots after I sold it but nothing since it expired in 2009 frown It has a current SORN on it and I'm guessing if a car is SORN it is at least not scrapped?

Edit: 10 years ago wow!
