Thanx for all the trouble guys, really appreciated.

It's no M6GT:

That's one of my all time favs. Read this nice stuff.

Please don't... That's automotive pornography. I first came across the M6 GT in a copy of Classic & Sportscar many years ago and have wanted one above all else ever since. If only Bruce would have lived longer to get his project off the ground.

Fnar, fnar!eek

Hows about this one.

Isn't that the Triumph Italia that was in another thread on here recently.
Popped up at a classic gathering at a pub somewhere. Might have been a Pat Heald thread.
Lovely looking motor based on a TR4 or similar.

Oh no. The Gilbern was a much nicer looking car than 'the red thing'.

Keep guessing.

Is it related to a Triumph GT6 or a Spitfire?.

No it`s a Ford (1172) based special of some kind - not absolutely sure but could be an Ashley?

Is the Piper as in David Piper?

yes If only he'd had more money to develop the cars and make them more road-user friendly, we could be looking at new Pipers today battling Elises on track.

IIRC the editor of Classic & Sports Car has a Piper GTT.

Correction from earlier - the later model with the pop-up headlights was the Piper P2.

Are you sure that this had anything to do with David Piper?

Not an Ashley but correct with the Ford thing.

SlowlySlowly - Is it a Mitsubishi SnotWagon?

This is an Ashley Ford Special and to my eyes a bit more pleasing to look at I did a Google Image search for Ford Ashley Special and found a black & white thumbnail that looks very like the red car but I can't get the picture to reproduce here. So I reckon it is an Ashley...

Well done that man clap
I was actually looking for a picture of the Falcon Caribbean which was a slightly prettier looking car, and one that I nearly bought a few years back, but stumbled upon the Bermuda and couldn't resist.

Your turn
