As he is a beleiver in direct action, then I assume a smack on the nose wouldn't offend him?

I'd be more upset if he poured a bucket of clean soapy water over my Range Rover! hehe

I put a lot of effort into getting it as muddy as it is!

shout Who the hell are you to assume the vehicle usage patern of a random vehicle you see parked on a street.

I end up telling this to my Mum, who has similar sentiments to Mr Rose.

Also, I was flicking through a car mag recently and realised that diesel 4x4s not only have similar mpg to ordinary cars, the average car is getting bigger, heavier and taller and sprouting bigger wheels - so there is increasingly little to differentiate between a 'Chelsea Tractor' and the average family MPV or estate.

I can't wait to see a parking-ticket-brandishing enviro-numpty attempt to throw a bucket of mud over a Dodge Caliber. I'd be splitting my sides.

On a slightly more serious note than my last post its people like this that are forcing me to buy a Unimog.

Actually, scratch that.

A Unimog with a Hiab.

Come near my car with a bucket of mud you little twerp and I'll crush your bicycle (as hes bound to be an avid cyclist) like a toothpick.

TC. We've got a diesel merc ML. I drove it from Bristol to Kent and back at about 80mph where safe, there was a bit of stop start traffic on the Surrey section of the M25 and the car averaged 29.4mpg. Now personally I don't see that as being a bad vehicle worthy of "criminalising".

That can't be right. Where does it state in law that you are allowed to throw a bucket of mud over someone else's property just because you don't agree with it?

Whenever I read things like this, I reckon its a testament to our tolerance as a nation, as I cant understand why it is that folks like this dont get the living shit kicked out of them by groups of people day in and day out whenever they venture out into public.

If I ever met him, and had to listen to his crap, or witness him doing what he advocates, I could quite happily hit him hard with something and actually be proud to be subsequently charged.

As said above though, how come they're not?

Poor thing, he just needs educating. I will happily volunteer to take him on a drive down some quiet country lanes in the Rangie, I could show him the towing capabilities, the ease at which it drives over obstacles, and just how sturdy the doors are when slammed.

Mr Rose said motorists and cyclists also found them difficult to see around.

He said: "There are just so many things wrong with them, we've got volunteers coming forward to join the group for all kinds of reasons.

"Some are just concerned with road safety, because roads in the city are narrow and they pose a danger. They emit higher amounts of carbon than normal cars as well

Hmm all these arguments seem to apply to busses, vans and lorries as well. So why isnt he trying to ban them?

Anyone want to guess which subjects Comrade Rose is taking at University?

Medicine ? Physics? Metallurgy? Civil Engineering? Mechanical engineering? No??

What about: Social science, philosophy, ethnic cultures..... Whatever. you can bet that whatever the course our wee fascist is taking it certainly ain't going to advance civilisation by one inch. Our collective tolerance for the mentally deficient constantly amazes me. Personally, I would upend him in one of his buckets of mud, you neverknow, the nutrients in the mud are probably genetically and organically superior to the grey matter allegedly in his skull. mad

Contact details for the annoying lefty oxygen thief...

And what the hell does he think powers the heaters in the tent outside the pub? His own hot air perhaps?

"Meeting on Tuesday 12th December in Clifton
by David Rose - Alliance Against Urban 4x4s Sunday, Dec 10 2006, 1:37am
davidrose@libramedia.fsnet.co.uk

We are going to have our 1st meeting on Tuesday 12th December at 8.30pm at the Lansdown pub ( 8 Clifton Road,Clifton,Bristol,BS8 1AF). They have a large table (seats up to 15/20 people) in a tent outside (which is heated) and I'll try and to get that - or they have a more private room upstairs. My mobile is 07817 447 406 in case anyone cannot find us. Everyone is welcome to discuss the group's strategy and tactics."

And finally, anyone fancy organising rolling trip of 4x4s to help them with this?

"We are planning to launch the Bristol Group on the 14t/15th of January with a city wide - two days of action against urban 4x4s."

Wonder if they'll throw mud at the Traffic Coppers?

All this is making me want to get a big 4x4 with a V8 just to show I really don't like these folk.

Last time I checked three types of people drive 4x4's Rich Country Folk, Rich Town Mothers on the school run, and, how shall I put this politely, umm Drug Dealers, how is the very pointless and hopefully soon to be dead Mr. Rose and his female friend going to distinguish the intimidatable school run mum, from the gun totting, 'I'm gonna blow your f***ing head off' Dealer? I personally hope with some difficulty! So long loser.
