I think that was the second time they used the name, I seem to remember a special edition Granada estate - lovely brown with tan.

As my economical work hack I have the (mis)fortune to drive a Renault Clio "Extreme"...

I have been tempted on several occasions to write to Renault and let them know that 1200cc's and 75hp is not really that "extreme" in any way I have yet to discover.
