Hi all- I'm new!

Hope this is in the right place? (I don't really get the General Gassing Vs. Pie & Piston distinction)

Long time lurker but have been motivated to get more involved after the recent eye-opening experience of my 1st Le Mans. I'm ashamed to admit I didn't realise the PH 'thing' was so big; very impressed.

Absolute car nut, performance road cars mainly but also follow F1. Like watching MotoGP but never been into road bikes. Proud owner of every EVO since '99.

Got my 1st PHish car last year, blowing my 1st year of 'proper' earning after uni in the process- absolutely love it. Have taken it (and poor other half) to Cumbria, Isle of Man and Le Mans since, the 1st of many such trips I hope. I've been on Cliosport.net a bit if anyone else is?

Away from cars, I'm a 25 year old engineer living in and working near Surbiton, Surrey.

Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox. Thanks for looking.

Welcome Ed, hope you have some fun on here. The Pie & Piston is great fun for a good old banter. I've only been on a week myself, I think you will enjoy it.

Hey mate, nice car you've got there. The French shitboxes ain't half bad. wink

General gassing is for car related stuff
The Pie & Piston is for stuff you'd talk to your mates with down the pub.

Welcome to the forum. I'm on Cliosport as well. smile

Just remember the 172 cup is the best and you should aspire to owning one should any current owner see you as deserving enough to own one

Mines been fine, besides the temp sensor, and the ecu bracket snapping.

Mine's only had a rocker-cover gasket leak and a broken alternater pulley but now my warranty had just run out the whole thing will disintegrate rolleyes.

Sure was/is. Nice bloke. I like the room where the dyno is, all that inch thick steel bolted to the walls.
