The ad was on here for many months, same name, same area and the car was £2K-£3K less than all others when I bought mine.

It was on vx220 that that one was a damaged repairable as well.

I remember that advert, was a guy called Imran. I was looking to buy a VXT at the time and was surprised that the VXT in question hadn't sold, apparently had done 7kmiles on a 2003 03 plate and was up for £13.5k, at least £1.5k below the general market price at the time which was back in mid April this year.
I never looked at the car as I was suspicious from the start that it had been for sale for a long time prior to mid April.

I'd think someone should tip off the local plod/trading standards about the garage in question. If they are doing this kind of stuff I doubt they are far away from being a chop shop...

I suspect the bib would be more intrested if it was a speeding offence rather than fraud
