Odd that the number plate that was on the crashed/rolled car is still registered to the same type of car, a VXR220 TURBO.....

It's now registered to a VX220 Turbo, not a VXR220.

Yes, I am assuming that with such a close knit community and good coverage (now) the owner of the Turbo, who now has the plate, could identify from whom he/she bought the plate? I wonder....
Actually thinking about this...I expect the person who supplied the photos of the damaged car was the owner of the car that Imran bought and is now selling
(the owner took some pics of the car after he crashed it), he retained the private plate, and recognises the original plate that was on the car as assigned by dvla prior to putting his private plate on.- (which is the car that Imran is now selling as repaired.)

Sooo, If Imran blanks out the reg on the next car he offers for sale he might avoid all the trouble?

Imran himself supplied the photos when looking to buy replacement bodywork from a forum member (looking to sell the damaged bodywork back to the same person).

The car is a VXR, a limited edition model with an index number. His car is number 16 (out of 68 I think), difficult to hide that information from a buyer.

The site is down again frown

I hope Imran has decided never to visit us again. Or preferably he's been led away by the BiB clap

This is the best thread since that muppet who stacked his Skyline on a perfectly straight 'icy' road

That was great. Love how there's still civility while they're all laying into the scumbag.

Good reading, but what a con artist!

He must be pretty dense, too, to actually believe anyone would trust a word he says!

So, to sum-up... Imran's brother acquires damaged cars and fixes them up. He then passes them on to Imran to flog-on under the pretence that he is an 'innocent' private seller.

Clearly he is a scammer and the VXR, BMW and his brother's garage need to be avoided at all costs!

Nice work for outing him!
