Yep, you'd have to carry a Brillo pad everywhere to clean the smears around the door off.

I think fully carbon fibred body with no paint at all and carbon fibre wheels to finish off would be the ultimate incarnation of what is already a pretty awesome bit of kit. And for that sort of money i'd also like hot and cold running totty please wink
Very nice biggrin
Lamborghini already did that at Frankfurt a few years ago. Minus the wheels.

Is the standard car made of Steel then? Think what they could have done if they had done some materials science on the body rather than just boosting the engine to absurd levels

Well, it'd go nice next to the Delorean...

Didn't Audi do a Aluminum car a while back? Collect the set!

A2 and A8 are both aluminium under the paint.

They did an A8 polished ally show car and there was also the Avus concept which was shown in polished ally.

I think VW are missing the point here, there's plenty of people with 50 mill or more in the bank who would think nothing of spending 2 million on a car - maybe that will be next.

Ultimate Veyron, 275MPH, 2.0 to sixty etc.

Don't understand why they sell the car cheap (if each car costs multiples of a million) - there would seem to be a market for a megabucks car - so long as the customer gets 'value for money' - which the Veyron is, from a stratospheric perspective.

Original is a carbon semi monocoque with (I believe) nearly all carbon panels. Hence the confusion.

Thinking the same here...

Wouldn't EUR 400.000 easily cover all panels in CF?

Why "schteel"??? Why aluminum??? Why Mr. Pischetsrieder!!!

It's certainly different. As someone else sai, I still prefer the De Lorean... hehe

Has someone been tasteless enough to order one of these in gold (as in proper shiny bling bling not the Jewish racing gold) yet?

Do you reckon that this is the 'top secret' vehicle that they weren't allowed to show on Fifth gear the other week when Tiff was being shown around the Bugatti 'workshop'?

Bit of a disappointment really - i was hoping for a race prepared Bugatti for Le Mans or something!

I think that Bugatti are working on a baby Veyron, I may be wrong though?

I think the fifth gear 'secret bugatti' is the soft top version. You can just about make it out it one shot.

How is this aluminium version lighter than the CF normal one? I'm confused! It's very shiny though...

Yep, there'd be a market for a 'Veyrover' SUV crossover with split rear tailgate.
