It wasn't a warning, it's just a bit silly using Tona or Spada. Griff, Cerb and Chim should be safe. I guess we learn old-fashioned English here at school as well. Anyways, as long as folks here understand what I'm trying to make clear
I didn't see any Shot-Pork stickers . . .
Carbed and supercharged 5 litre.
GTRene wants one

Hi Guys,
Back home now and finally can see the pics, wonderful stuff! I got the Lotus 10 right Dink, an easy one for me since my old man used to have a Lotus 11 (wish I had it now!). I have just about got over missing out on this trip. Lost out big time on the track day, no refund, bummer! At least the boys made it there with the old scoob, that will help put the miles on it (20k in about 7years!). Keep the photo's coming Dink, I dont go back to the Goolag until Sunday.
Great result Phil!
Cheers
Graeme

Be patient David. Or scroll down
Graeme, we missed you but there's always a next year. Great bunch of ladds you have.
Most PHers parked together - it was so much a group-thingy, a bit scary all those guys together on a parking! -, Nigels M here. Great plates! Can't miss the PH-advert.
Very nice to see all those Cerbera's together. Nice to hear as well . . .
Sitting in the sun having coffee, walking about a bit, chitchatting, checking out the cars, snap a bit, sitting in the sun having coffee etc etc etc. Life can be wonderfull.
It was hot with all that bright sunshine . . . and all those Blackpool Rockets. Early C with the proper lights.
Grahams C with TC's flat battery in . . .
On their way to SpaF a blind Belgian didn't see Graham coming. Is it allright now Graham?
The 'Ring is a shrine. A bit like Automotive Lourdes.
When there's a TVR there's a mechanic. This one had extra silencers fitted IIRW. Silly of course.
One for your profile UC!
We weren't the only ones to bring TVRs to the 'Ring.
Lots of beefy bikes. At the track they were all in our way, weren't they David?
Talkin' 'bout beef: John licking Rene's V8 here. Rene did a 9:30 lap: "I want a set of Falkens!"
That's a serious engine. Still for sale . . . the whole car that is
David's Z06: it isn't bog-standard having uprated suspension, hotcams, bigger brakes and all. With 570 brake it is big fun on the track. Pretty comfy as well. The sound-level is OK, we could talk. I can easily understand why enthusiasts leave the Ferrari's and Porkers and pick this for their weapon of choice: it has a generous boot, great seats and nuff space to move about (a bit too much maybe ). Of course it doesn't turn heads like Italian machinerie but it doesn't go past unnoticed as well. I was in some Vette's before and I must say this one makes a difference. I've ordered 2 tracksnaps from Jochen and will post 'em when they are in.
The 7:50 M3: this can't be a standard one. As I saw 140/150 on the clocks a few times I guess we lapped pretty quick . . .

Yeah I hear you about the "moving about" bit. I will get the six point harness sorted properly for the passenger side for the next track day; those comfy seats do allow too much movement otherwise.
I hope I haven't put you off track driving Dink; my car is a bit extreme, there are gentler rides out there!

Dink, why no pics of the Vomit Comet?
Methinks you are quite proud of this David .... "Coming soon to an auto-journal near you" the story in full gory detail, yes?
And I swear I was behaving, driving within the limits of the car; it's just that those limits are well beyond what most people have experienced, especially in a road car!

Yep, It was parked next to us in the outer Ring carpark on the Monday with another one. I spoke to some fellow Tiger owners and it apparently has a 7.7ltr V8 lump in it! and it's still got the original drum brakes on the back!!! Godzilla said:

Then, I had just been in the Kermit Supra

Cheers, I'll have another browse through later and see if I can spot a B8
Not yet: they're in the UK. I have Chevrons in the 2006 blog though.Godzilla said:

Exactly, never did bigger speeds or bigger G's yet.My First 'Ring, not a bad one me thinks. That's what counts, let's not scare folks who didn't had such an experience. I'll be back . . . It's just a matter of quantity . . . and being tight in the seat
And no, your car certainly isn't extreme. In fact it's quite comfy. When not in complete anger it'd make a good GT.
Sinc: I think David AJ's comparo between the Rari and the Z06 (High specific horsepower) says enough about the car: it's awesome and a steal really. But compared to the Cerbera (talking 'bout a steal) . . . I dunno, but both Andrews 4.2 and Phils 4.5 felt like a suit and more exotic. Phil pointed to the Cerb as a great 'Ringtool. I guess he knows what he's saying Of course it's silly to compare and all that. Next time I'll be prepared and I'm sure it'll result in a enjoyable write-up.
Aha: "After a lap of Bedford’s West Circuit I’m almost praying to hear valves clattering into pistons. That big V8 is borderline scary in standard form; with the Lingenfelter kit, it’s just plain terrifying. The extra muscles start to flex almost from tickover (despite an uneven, dragster-like idle, the lumpier cam soon smoothes out), but it’s when extended beyond 5000rpm that the engine starts to feel uncomfortably violent. Few supercars offer such an enormous and sustained hit of raw acceleration."
"After five laps the Lingenfelter Z06 posts a best of 1:22.40. Faster than the optimised 599 GTB (p92), faster than the Lamborghini Gallardo, just a tenth behind the Koenigsegg CCX. And all for £60,000. Incredible."
