My condolences to his family, he fought tirelessly for the rights of the driver in the face of our ridiculous government...
A real loss...
Echo the sentiment. My condolences to his family, he fought tirelessly for the rights of the driver in the face of our ridiculous government...

A voice of reason in a sea of gibbering idiots that purports to be a government.
I'm shocked to the core. This is terrible news, for a family to lose someone at such an age.
At least Paul died doing something that he was deeply passionate and dedicated to, and his epitaph will show that he did something genuinely useful with his life.
RIP Paul, and condolences to your family and friends.

What a real shame - It's rare these days you see someone with such integrity fight so tirelessly for a cause they truly believe is right
Let's hope that somewhere in the motoring community a Paul Smith Memorial is created to annually recognise the activities of individuals who promote the cause of road safety in Paul's eminently practical manner

Paul was like the prophet of all phs. I sincerely hope his family will get to know the size of this thread, if only this could help them to relief their pain.
Sincere condolence and profound respect for one of the latest voice of freedom of the UK motoring world.
Paul, we'll all be missing you...
