This is very sad news.

Hopefully he will have inspired others to fight our corner with the impressive array of facts he'd built up over the years.

I only hope the malicious bastards who control the kind of policies he campaigned against don't see his death as a good thing.

I very sad today.

I worked as closely as I could (and had time for) with Paul over the last couple of years or so and greatly admired his commitment to real road safety.

Please don't let his work fade away with his passing. Clair has said she wants to keep the website etc going, and many of us Safespeed "longtimers" are determined not just to help her do that but also to take the fight forward. Join us!

A sad day indeed. Perhaps his message may achieve the immortality that humans lack.

Very sad, Paul did amazing research and tireless work relavant to all of us that drive at speed. Anyone who reads PH news regularly will have benefitted from his insight and voice of common sense at odds with the 'all controlling' state.

Thanks Paul

Absolutely gutted to hear this. My Condolences to Paul's family and close friends.

I can't help thinking that Paul's early passing is an absolute disaster for future road safety. Who else is going to step forward and present logical argument against the government spin and oppression of motorists.

A great loss, a campaigner with a great knowledge of true road safety and common sense in a world which unfortunately is heading away from such things.

Oh censored. frown

I never met Paul but I supported his work as far as I could, and the world is a poorer place without him.

On a selfish note, I'm gutted that we have now lost the man who was single handedly leading the only effective campaign against the scameras. I don't see anybody poised to take over the fight. The ABD are the only likely candidates but tbh strike me as relatively ineffective.
