All around the country new Lagunas are now being thrashed to within an inch of their lives for 48 hours at a time.
So I'm expecting PHers to have full encyclopedic knowledge of the ideal launch revs, ideal shift revs, max cornering G's, offroad performance, what it takes to lock up all 4 brakes, how fast you can go in 1st gear and how fast you can go over speedbumps in the new Laguna? It's been said that the fastest car in the world is a rental!

i had a vectra vxr from thursday 9.00 am through to monday 9.00am only had time to drive it for 2.5 days but did 1000 miles and about £300 in fuel

Excellent stuff, will book as soon as my student loan/petrol money comes through.
Just booked mine, bit disappointed as I was never asked which derivative I would like. I presume we'll be getting the 1.9 DCi...
There's nothing in the terms and conditions that says you have to have a pretence to buying one, although you do have to put in a company address.
My brother's got one of the previous generation diesels and he quite likes it, so let's see how good it really is!
ETA: "Renault UK will provide a New Renault Laguna but cannot guarantee which derivative will be delivered."
Pity that they don't do the 2.0 turbo in manual
