They let you have it for two days to give the AA a chance to work out why it won't start.

So I'm expecting PHers to have full encyclopedic knowledge of the ideal launch revs, ideal shift revs, max cornering G's, offroad performance, what it takes to lock up all 4 brakes, how fast you can go in 1st gear and how fast you can go over speedbumps in the new Laguna?

It's been said that the fastest car in the world is a rental! biggrin

I've never had a test drive in a new car before.

Im 22, with a clean licence, I might give it a try.

Do you have to make some kind of pretence to be buying one, or is it as easy as everyone is making out?

I'd feel a bit guilty if I had to tell any porkies...

As far as I can see, it is meant for company car users, and possibly fleet managers.

Just booked mine, bit disappointed as I was never asked which derivative I would like. I presume we'll be getting the 1.9 DCi...

There's nothing in the terms and conditions that says you have to have a pretence to buying one, although you do have to put in a company address.

My brother's got one of the previous generation diesels and he quite likes it, so let's see how good it really is!

ETA: "Renault UK will provide a New Renault Laguna but cannot guarantee which derivative will be delivered."

Pity that they don't do the 2.0 turbo in manual rolleyes
