OK im stumped on this one. I have been looking round for pictures of this car as I love Hartge stuff and tourings.

and been thinking should I build it. The problem is I only have one garage so it would have to live on the street as my silver touring has the garage. Would leaving it on the streets just shout STEAL ME, it would have a removable steering wheel. Would the graphics fade, would a cover help or catch on the graphics, would spitefull kids try and peel the graphics off and damage the paint all these questions going round my head I can't think wobble.

I know what all the graphics look like as I bought a very accurate model

Anyway a few drunken drinkdrink, impulse buying nights on ebay type have turned up

Yes thats front and rear Hartge spoilers cloud9 and I already have the sideskirts and just spotted the perfect base vehicle.

The idea is to build it up, hit a few shows for a year or two, mabey get a feature in a mag or two. Transfer the Hartge bodykit onto the silver touring (so it does not get damaged) and track the white one.

Or of course I could just thrown the Hartge bodykit on the silver one and be done having one really nice car smile. oh and throw my new mats in as well.

Sounds good to me. Wouldn't leave it on the street though.

Thats the problem. My current car is too good to leave on the street.

Cotty, please do it...at least to get it out of your system, let alone the ammount of fun the project will be and the years of driving trills to come.

One thing, please put a manual box in this one smile

yes

It's like going to the 'ring, you don't want to look back and think; 'damnit, I wish I'd gone with those group of lads, it would have been such an awesome time'.

I forgot about this thread. Still can not find a suitable base vehicle but did buy some wheels.

Oh and I just bought two pairs of these (in black)3inch sholder and lap straps. I like the fact they can be bolted in or fixed to a roll cage.

I have a pair of Hartge badges (which I removed off my M3 saloon) - gratis if you post up a pic of your car painted up like the model above!

eek you mean like this, with the old style script?

I have been looking for three years for a set of those badges for my silver touring. I hope to put a H27 engine in it when one turns up. I don't think the white one would need any extra badges hehe If you would consider selling them I would be very interested.

I have still not found out any further information on the White touring, but I have spoken to a couple of guys in the Netherlands who said they would have a word with the factory to see if they have any more pictures/information. phonetype
