Nah, those blue alloys looks ace, and the white and mud paintwork is even better. You've made me want a Porsche and time to leave Glasgow for roads like that now. I'd love to, but my car wouldn't make that fun.

Thanks for the comments on the car chaps. It is a work in progress - I have a GT3 RS stylee stripe coming for it imminently. It's a great machine, absolutely perfect for Scottish roads - I would say the Cayman is it's spiritual successor, even though it has 2 less seats and an engine at the other end.
I still haven't worked out my economy yet, but I left home with a full tank, filled up in Thurso, then Ullapool and arrived at home with just under a quarter left. The journey to Wick wasn't really "hammer down", but I guess that is pretty good. I have on occasion got the 944 down into the early teens mpg, but you couldn't drive like that all day! That said, it can do 30mpg on the motorway!

Pretty similar here ... had an average of 16mpg on a tankful in either heavy commuting traffic OR a serious hoon (ironic that heavy traffic reduces economy to the same levels are serious stick, eh? Maybe Ken Livingscum should take note of such jewels), and up to 32 for sustained long-distance cruising. I actually saw a consistent 29-31 going around Scotland, although that was with the Oli.
