Very pretty and definitely stands out at the moment. I've seen only a couple of these around town (London), there are just too many DB9/AMVs to stand out anymore.

I love the look of this car - it's just so BIG though!

The Quattroporte is heavier than the M5 but can still do the Evo track quicker despite being 100hp down. I guess you can't please everybody.

Is it confirmed as 434bhp? Notice the number plate GT 440 HP.

a fantastic looking car but lacking performace IMHO. Needs 500bhp just to be a half decent performer. Even then it would be slower than a M5! Its too heavy. But sooooo Gorgeous!

I'm confused... The Quattroporte didn't fare will with the paddle-shift, so they added the new automatic - much better car now. Then I see the GranTurismo with the same auto and I think, that's good, Tiptronic still drives much better than Cambiocorsa. Smoother automatic mode and still a quick manual shift, even though it's not a manual. Now they launch a Cambiocorsa version of this and call it a better version of the GranTurismo. I don't predict this transmission will be as popular as the auto, because I don't think it will drive as well. IMHO I think Ferrari should stick to the idea of Maserati being a GT company, and keep the hardcore sports cars under the Ferrari badge. After all, I still see much more interest in the regular versions of the old Coupe and Spyder compared to the GranSports anyway.

Back is ok, but looks very snouty to me, like it should be hoovering up molluscs and fish poo at the bottom of the ocean, and is wincing at thee crappy (geddit?) taste.
Hmmmm, its just me then.whistle

I think it looks absolutely gorgeous and also the S version makes sense for a sporting GT. They should just not pitch it against the 997 though...

That will be 440 PS then, which happens to correspond with 434 of your braked horses. bowtie

I just can't understand why it needs to weigh over 1700kg, it's always going to be a massively compromised sports car at that weight.

Because it's GT car! It’s not meant to be a light nimble racer.

Just needs to have a big thumping engine half decent performance and more luxuries than you can shake a stick at.

Do you honestly think that a kerb weight of 1880kg isn't slightly excessive though?! As has already been mentioned, it's heavier than an M5. Must admit it's a good looking car though wink

Get my GranTurismo tomorrow morning and a letter of intent for the new version has been drafted already.

The S looks stunning - a real alternative to Aston DB9s.

Sat in the standard Granturismo yesterday afternoon. Have to say, thoroughly impressed. looks absolutely stunning inside and out, and is now firmly of the list! Once the s is out, and knocked the price more..!

The GT will fit in with your rather nice collection of cars very well!

The 997GT3 for hooning and track days, the Carrera GT for supercar blasts, and the Granturismo for any big jaunts! Not jealous at all.....

The only real problem i had with it was the satnav system, but they're a big bugbear of mine anyway....
