That Atom is already my desktop wallpaper. Just got to figure out how to get XP SP1 to stretch the image to the right size on both screens (one at 1280x1024, other at 1024x768).

Amazing galery, almost feels like im there.

Could i ask what camera you use? digital/film?

I am on the search for a good camera for this years shows, im fed up with my old compact digital thing that takes about 10 seconds after pressing the button to actualy take the picture, by which time the car on track has long gone. Could you recomend a decent digital camera that takes pictures when i press the button not when it wants to

Awesome picture.

Although I'm slightly disappointed they weren't taking advantage of the conditions for some slidey slidey doughnut action !

Fame at last! I was sat in the Audi trying to warm up, judging by the lights being on - it was flippin' cold that day. And don't worry, donuts in the car park were excellent fun! smile

So the Breakfast club meet at Goodwood did go ahead.

I was all set to drive there in the morning, looked out at the window and saw the snow and thought it would of been called off (We don't get snow much down here !!).

Gutted I didn't get there now, although what the Esprit would of thought of snow I'll never know. !!! ;o)

Got to get there for the next one in May now.

Merc R107 SL
.....

Darren
'think the yellow one behind that is a 911 convertible.

Lovely photo!

The white Mercedes SL (fourth car along) caught my eye. It looks just like my old car... sadly, I'm fairly sure it isn't because I wrote that one off nearly four years ago. frown

What time do these meets start from? Can only GRRC members turn up? (I am but am wondering about inviting a friend in his car)

Thanks for all the feedback folks - all of a sudden this gallery become the most popular of the 20 odd I have online - and there aren't any cat-suited girls in this one wink

To answer some of the questions:
This shot was taken with a Conon EOS400D and standard lens set at 18mm, ISO 200, 1/160 at f/7.1 (its amazing the info that digital cameras record isn't it?)I have only slightly photshopped it but like the footprints leading the eye to the figures in the background.

The Goodwood breakfast clubs happen on the first Sunday of the month and each have a differnet theme http://www.goodwood.co.uk/breakfastclub

Cheers

Anyone can go, although it's a bit unsporting to turn up in a non-interesting car (someone went in a diesel Skoda Fabia last year!). It's free to go, but the breakfasts are £12. They start about 7 ish, I usually aim to get there for 8.

Just to clarify....
1. Start time anytime from 7.30 onwards.
2. You do not have to be a member - is open to all. There is no limit to spectators or their cars.
3. As a spectator it matters not one hoot what you drive as you park in the public car park.
4. You are not obliged to buy ANYTHING. There is a (poor) cooked breakfast available for £12 or excellent catering vans round the paddock where a superb bacon roll will cost £3.40.
5. Finishes around 11.30 to midday.
6. Highly recommended!!
