Try to keep your eyes open while you look at these photos of the new Insignia:

Snore.

Could it be any more bland if it tried? Could very easily be the new Toyota Avensis...

And just imagine how the poverty spec ones will look without all the 'bling'.

I thought the Insignizzzzzzzz was meant to be a brave new start for Vauxhall design? confused

Not too bad but it looks very much like a new Mondeo and Citroen C5.

Apart from having a wheel at each corner, it bears no resemblance whatsoever with the concept car at Geneva, piss poor

It would be nice if Vauxhall could just get it "right" with the Vectra and sell a class leader in this segment, but again, they`ve fluffed it.

They've swiped the "fin" from BMW and, in the 3rd picture of the OP, are they not almost carbon copies of the Focus ST's wheels?

Looks hideous, the current Vectra in comparison looks much better.

Is it any more or less boring than the latest Mondeo?

Lets face it, Vectra, Honda, Toyota, Mondeo, Passat, they all look the same now

Is anyone actually designing cars any more? You know, for driving? Does seeing one of these on the drive in the morning bring a smile to anyone's face?

Yes, I know my A3 is bland too and i frequently debate getting rid, the others are my smiley-face cars. With the choice of just one car, it would need to make me smile

Aside from the forgettable-ness of it, which is probably going to be a good thing, does it not strike anyone else as being really short compared to say the current Vectra and Mondeo etc

That boot badge thing is hideous as well.

Okay, so it'll have a different, chrome, 'V' grille when its a Pauxhall.

But its still the same car.

And its going to be called Insignia here too, not Vectra...
