Is fire a common problem with Ferraris? As I once saw an Italian-plated 575 on fire at the side of the A20 a couple of years ago.

Ouch.

Thats only about 5 minutes from where I live. Mad mile is right too. Coming from Sutton and through that roundabout, its usually all guns blazing to the traffic lights. Funny to watch people as they go for it, I have to say. Still, wont be so funny trying to explain it to the insurance company for this one...

Yeah, what is it with fire and Ferraris?

I've seen an F355 and a 360M up in smoke. Is it just dodgy Italian wiring?

T-cut? Nah, that Ferrari's a bit beyond t-cut.

more like some colour wax, that'll see it right as rain. I've got half a bottle of the stuff that I don't need now, someone give the addy of the owner and I'll stick in the post biggrin

That's the third 599 I've seen pics off that's caught fire whilst driving; along with two or three R8's; does anyone know the cause?

has it hit something? Doesn't look like it. Looks like some kind of spontaneous combustion.

Weird position for the car too - it's parked just before a turn off - you'd have thought the driver would ahve got off the main road if they noticed the car was on fire, unless it happened v fast and they were queuing in traffic?
