Shmee, aren't you going to add my pic of 9X? Or do you want me to take a better quality picture? I can also get you a better quality pic of H1. Just need to keep my camera on me.

I've got to say I agree with the councils, what is £150k (or even half a million)in the scheme of things?

wasn't it 3B that was on a veyron? The back of a veyron has 'EB' but the 'E' is backwards so it looks more like 3B doesn't it?

or am i shouting rubbish
I thought it was E 13, the 1 and the 3 placed close together to look like a B?
read i think this is what you are on about?

has anyone ever spotted 1O on a car? My neighbour come over this morning to chat when I was in the garage and was telling me he had just spotted it on an average looking BMW in the Newcastle area?
It sold last year to somebody I would not expect to be driving around an "average" BMW...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7853400.stm
'The Berkshire-based businessman who bought the regal-sounding 1 HRH said that he had been "determined to keep it in British hands". '

Am I missing something here?
Yes the same auction that included 1HRH also included 1O selling for £210,000. I don't think if you spend £200k+ on a number plate that you stick it on an average beemer!
There are so many reasons why somebody would want to have it on the average BMW . . . . . . . changed cars for something less obvious, temporarily on family hack until new Ferrari/Royce/Bentley/Lambo/VW etc arrives, owns a few expensive plates and has them on all household cars etc etc etc

HRH Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei's MINI Cooper being a lovely example of somebody with a very expensive plate on a comparatively cheap run-around smile
So it isn't 100% that it isnt on a BMW? I see no reason why my neighbour would make it up?

[quote TheSun]
But the F1 plate is now believed to be worth around £5m and is said to be one of the most valuable number plates in the world
£5M!? Should it also have added "in the opinion of a Bradford resident"?

Nice plate, but you'd have had a bump on the head paying that for it.

I like the symmetry of the plate coming up at the next DVLA auction.

XXX 55S

Reserve is set at £450. That would be a decent looking plate if you could get it for reserve.
Unlikely
I'm not living in a dream world, I know it'll go for more.

I don't suppose you could find it and quote it for me because I haven't got it in the gallery but did try to find every single-single in the entire thread.

E3 is a new one....not seen a picture of it before. Perfect for the Bug though to match the EB on the back of one.
Love it - great plate!
Makes you wonder where the plate has been hiding - after all, it's been around since early 1904!
