I am amazed at the way literally thousands upon thousands of pounds are bieng wiped off the value of any petrol car bigger than a focus due to rising fuel and taxation.
End of the day, Fuel prices will go back down once people realise the rear villains are all the speculators. There really isn't any reason for the high prices, not as if there is a shortage or anything. With the car tax, as long as the car is worth it eg a Porsche or something, then it's not really a big problem. The £400 is going to hit stuff like family cars and people carriers a lot more.
The side effect will be bargebargains galore! I'm already saving up for the CL500, 2000 model of course
