Last example of the sort of cars that made BMW great? Decently powerful NASP I6 engine, manual gearbox, RWD. I'm tempted by that, knowing full well it'll be hell to shift on.
If that's Saddle Brown leather, it's much nicer than it looks in the pictures. I had it in an E91 and it looked lovely. The rest of the car (in particular the broken 2 litre petrol engine) was less lovely, but the interior looked fantastic.

Got a bit confused when it said it had electric gingerbread cake - I assume that's why the brown interior.

No - it's "brown", whatever fancy name they give it....

I've never been taken with those Audis but that looks brilliant. Particularly inside

So unusual to see one in such a desirable colour combo.

That would be okay with a proper engine

And therein lies the difficulty. Good spec and a good engine are rare commodities. Getting them together would take God's intervention, I feel

Indeed. I think this is why I like the 1-5 thread - the dying embers of the many-cylinder petrol car frown

Enthusiasts were never tripping over cars with wonderful options and big engines om the used market, but things can only get worse

I was amazed to find its possible to get an Audi A6 2.0TDI to £96k on the Audi configurator website. That was without even quattro!

There is a very high spec W12 one for sale for £30K which is a bit over budget, but considering every W12 Phaeton that comes up sells within a week I may look at the Audi W12 when it comes time to replace my Phaeton.

I think this is better looking than the new model.

Great value too.

I'm not surprised, despite the higher than desireable mileage for the price point. It's a stunner.
