In that case it's been on e-bay and Autotrader and still is. Not sure why it's not been noted as sold.
Ok got it. I presumed it was the earlier shape. I've seen a couple of these is Merc dealerships but never on the road. I've only ever seen one in the later shape and that was in Bulgaria with Russian plates. Nice car.
As posting a picture of it in this section may cause the odd wobble I've posted it in the Mercedes section under post a picture of your Mercedes.
Yes it is the later model, never been a fan of the older design dashboard/console area and hopefully not as prone to the old coil pack nightmare as the earlier ones where shutting down one bank of the V was thought to be the main cause.

Do the later models not shut down half the engine?

Thought I'd throw this into the barge mix although in the upper price scale Mercedes CL63 and the CL600 are now coming onto the market. CL63 has a wonderful N/A engine that sounds and goes as only big AMG's can. So does the CL600 for those lovers of turbine smooth V12's but expect slightly higher running costs for the V12's.

Not sure whats wrong with the Autrader site at the moment but I can't seem to get to the cars I'd been looking at, but to just re-cap there are a couple of 2007 CL63 AMG's just under £20K also on e-bay and I'm not sure whether the immaculate 2007 CL 600 I enquired after finished its time on e-bay but it was faultless and £18K.

Yes that was lovely, but could not do a deal with the guy. But for £18K its a steal (well I better qualify that) running costs for the fabulous engine will be high if you do things properly. These cars were in excess of £100K new so this car that isn't even run in yet represents to me at least something worth considering as a potential barge within the budget. For those who like a bit more of a soundtrack with equal pace then there is the CL63 AMG. But don't think for one minute you can skimp on servicing them although there are a lot of independents who can do a perfectly good job.

We wouldn't touch it from this vendor, obviously. But an interesting F10, naturally aspirated, manual 530i

Ruined by the tinted light brigade, though
