They are laughably unsuited to UK roads, but great fun. (only driven in US). What I like most is that even at 85mph, floor it, it’ll kickdown and go for the horizon. Sure, it won’t trouble a current hot hatch, but the 2l tdi rep brigade would be surprised. (And the outside lane intimidation factor is off the scale)

If I had the space, I’d be tempted, in a ‘it’s only money’ fashion, but the wheels would have to get changed to some more ‘normal’ ones, and the 7 would have to go as I couldn’t justify both. Since I love my 7, it’s not going to happen (yet).

Some serious bargain barges going through this thread.

The S63 would definitely be a safer punt - I've had a V12 Twin Turbo, and just a major service will be over £1k (24 spark plugs, which are over a tenner each!).

Plus, the 63 would definitely sound better.

But - if you want quite wafting with turbine-like acceleration, get the V12!
