Quite lovely.

If it was manual (does it exist?) it would be a great 'Nearly manual M5'.
Not on the F10 sadly.

£2k over budget but there can't be too many of these about:

BMW 5 SERIES 4.4 550I M SPORT INDIVIDUAL 4d AUTO 403 BHP BLACK PACK

Perfect in almost every way.

My leased F10 goes back in July and would have that as a replacement in a heart beat.

When you say almost, you mean with the exception of those horrific ///M puddles, right.

Nice but two pots short of a symphony... There's a massive gulf in barge quality from the 3 to the 5 imo.

If we are talking daily drives I'd rather go the other way.

F01 750Li in budget cool

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...

Or for a wee bit more a SWB Sport. Yeah baby.

AVOID FIRST DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!

Bought my Audi from them. Bought an Audi A6. Put it through a engine rebuild after the belt failed!! They refused to do anything.
Got Audi UK involved who are currently battling them.
The place is a sthouse full of dodgy motors and poor lazy salesmen.

Waited there for hour just for the bloody salesmen to even turn up!!!!!!!!!!

Don't ever treat a B5 or B5S as a 550i or you will be in a world of pain; they are based on a 545i.

I thought the S was based on the 4.8?

Lots of incredibly expensive engine and supercharger problems have been caused by putting the 550i oil filter into the supercharged Alpina engine found in the B5, B6 and B7 and 'S' variants; the 550i filter is different to the 545i filter and so starves the supercharger of oil, causing the clutch and various other wee parts to break down and enter the engine causing catastrophe.

It is based on a 545i so needs a 545i filter.

Do otherwise at your peril.

Is it just me who thinks the interior looks absolutely awful these days?

Its aged really badly I reckon. Maybe its just the grey.
