Stunning cars.

This one belongs to the father of a friend and sadly is a garage queen, although it did get driven rather enthusiastically for a magazine feature a couple of years ago.

When he does drive it, as a former rally driver he doesn't half pedal it along.

does he always drive it with the poncy ribbons? wink - not one of the best mods I have seen on a 'grale!!

I drove an EVO1 (At Walkers) a little while ago and I wasn't hugely impressed. I'd even go as far as saying I didn't like it. It wasn't for very long which probably didn't help and I drove 2 P1s that day which I felt much happier with having own an Impreza for 4 years.

I keep looking at them and they are still in my shortlist of cars to own but my first outing in one left me a bit dissapointed.
i was the exact opposite

within the first 5 seconds i felt instantly 'at home'... in fact, i dont think ive ever test driven a car that felt totally natural, normal and familiar with the very first moments

i think it was a combination of:

1. the great feel of the wheel, immediately make syou feel connected and completely in control
2. i used to passenger in a mates delta HF turbo years ago in the late 80's so the general feel was somewhere already in my unconcious

Hence why a have one in the garage.

A car for drivers, if you can't feel how good they are after a few min's at the wheel then I'm afraid drivings not your game.

Rowan atkinson has one parked next to his F1 in his garage... go figure.

Mine's parked nexted too a single seater race car.

sorry i thought we were talking standard cars thats why i said it would kill it cos it would. im not the 1 comparing it i was commenting on some1 else saying how it would keep up with it. yeh my 10000bhp skyline will do your 200hp scooby. did the make a 330bhp versionof the integrale? nooo!!! so im talking standard cars and the evo will kill it in any conditions.
Mitsubishi FQ cars weren't standard, they were modified by Mitsubishi UK with the aid of some tuning firms. The modified engines required shorter service intervals etc.
