The mk2 GS and that IS look awful.
That seems a sweeping statement to make, seeing as you posted a ricey Supra a couple of pages back.

Sorry to butt in, but I agree with him - and dont see how it can be 'sweeping', Gazboy hasnt said ALL GS' or IS' look awful, just those particular two.

..Admittedly although I like some Supra's I'm not the biggest fan of the one Gazboy posted either!

I'm sorry, but having seen this car in the flesh and in action, it is one amazing bit of kit, although its technically not a modified car as its a full out drifter. Not the best picture of it, but it needs to be that wide and has a certain nascar look to it.

700BHP from 1.8L is a lot eek
I think that will be scary as hell!

"The biggest problem is that once you get over 160 you can only drive it in a straight line because the steering goes wobbly."

Oh yes, the "biggest problem" probably not the only one tough biggrin
Ahh yes this golf, my mate showed me the news paper artical....well it was in the Sun so I guess its a story. Anyway the headline was "mans £50 golf faster than a Vayron" turns out what they mean is "mans £50 golf that has £60k engine work is faster to 60mph than a Vayron and can do a 1/4 mile a bit quicker too"

I can respect the engineering but £60k on a golf......I guess if you got that sort of money to burn you can probably afford all the other cars I am thinking of in the £60k bracket

... not to mention that it will be a LOT more expensive to run than 99% of the cars you can think of at 60k.

The other ones won't get you in the newspaper tough...

I doubt that actually. It's only an Audi TT drivetrain and engine. http://www.eurosportscompact.co.uk/entries2009_det...

If the drivetrain hasn't been altered it's impressive it doesn't break every full bore start.

Looks like a Tiger ... so not modified but certainly rare ... as are all Avengers these days.
