Pictures of decently Modified cars
Discussion
I think the golf above looks very good. The only trouble is there are a million others all modified to look exactly the same.
Just like when you see the modified Golf Mk4's from the VW scene... all fat, all low, all smoothed, all on stretched rubber.
From an outsiders perspective it's the VW scene that looks full of sheep, with 90% of modded VW's looking identical (when looking at the same model). Yes there are exceptions, but when you see a whole field of cars that match is gets a little predictable. Not knocking them though, as many of the cars taken in isolation are lovely.

I'm an outsider too, K-ink, and I would agree that it is very much that way. You do also see flairs of pure brilliance in it though, and some serious creativity. I guess I'm a little jaded to the attitudes of many on this place and their complete intolerance of some enthusiasts (who, in reality are quite often 100 times more knowledgeable about the guts of a car and don't rely on a glossy magazine to provide their opinions...)Otter Smacker said:

R32 engine? Bet that's a bit frisky. If I had the money, I would buy that Golf in a heart beat.

Bit of a sleeper
And plenty of room to add a turbo or 2 to make it a bit more mental than it already is.
