Those wheels look pretty crap tbh, and doesn't the M3's V8 rev to more than 6,500 rpm?

I think that's the correct rev counter. Looks like it goes higher than 6500.

God, there appear to be some morons on that thread. "I didn't know these existed" and "I never saw one of these before".

Well, no st Sherlock. It's a conversion. He mentions both donor cars in the OP and how he made his M3 Touring from them. rolleyes

agreed, thats absolutely fantastic. Be interested to know build cost and also how it performs in fast road conditions in comparision with the saloon

Now the modern M3 is a cracking car - but change the alloy colour and mirrors, and you'd have a real sleeper.... biggrin

I've seen that car a few times round Birmingham. The link explains my confusion when first seeing it. Good effort!

A shame he didn't change that, don't know how difficult it would be to change the clocks now that he've put such a effort into it.

Erm, they are M3 clocks. The red line changes position as the car warms up.
